Slovenia's wine routes offer an unforgettable journey through some of Europe's most stunning vineyard landscapes. From the terraced hills of Goriska Brda to the rolling slopes of Jeruzalem, each route reveals a unique combination of natural beauty, winemaking tradition, and local hospitality.
The Goriska Brda wine route winds through villages that feel like stepping into a Renaissance painting. The Vipava Valley route follows a dramatic karst landscape where the Bora wind shapes both the terrain and the wines. In the east, the Jeruzalem-Ormoz route traverses some of the most prestigious vineyard sites in Central Europe.
Along each route, family-owned cellars welcome visitors for tastings, offering wines paired with local delicacies: prosciutto in Primorska, pumpkin seed oil in Stajerska, and pogaca bread in Dolenjska.
